The Central Family Medicine Teaching Centre is looking for a competent and capable Admin Support III to join our Primary Care Alberta Team. The Administrative Support III - Receptionist position is responsible for competent performance and strong commitment to a range of clerical activities that contribute to the clinical work in a patient medical home setting.
The Administrative Support III will coordinate and provide high-level administrative support and be responsible for scanning medical documents, electronically attaching, and filing them to the patient's electronic medical record (EMR), on team scheduling, booking, and follow-through of patient appointments with clinic physicians and residents.
The expectations for this position include the effective performance of clerical activities related to documenting in the patient file (EMR), obtaining appropriate clinical documents, booking tests and procedures, and communicating with various health-related personnel and patients.
As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program. This position will be part of Primary Care Alberta effective November 18, 2024.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. MOA Office Assistant Certification. 2 - 3 Years Experience Working in a Primary Care Setting. Strong Computer Skills. Strong Communication and Phone Skills. MedAccess EMR Experience.
