Data Analyst

We are on the hunt for a skilled Data Analyst in the Financial Services industry, based in Toronto, Ontario. 1-year contract employment opportunity. Mostly remote role (1 day in office Downtown).

Advanced Power BI skills are required. The primary goal for this role is to establish a Power BI dashboard for ongoing monitoring. Should thresholds be exceeded, appropriate remediation steps are to be executed.

• Analyze and understand regulatory reporting requirements
• Develop and establish data reporting needs
• Ensure data is collected, calculated, and presented accurately
• Handle complex datasets and present them in an understandable format
• Develop Power BI dashboard
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Continuously monitor and update data collection and calculation processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
