Project Manager - Commercial - Calgary

Responsibilities:

• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure timely completion and financial accountability.
• Manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Implement and enforce quality control, safety, and operational standards.
• Review and approve project deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Address and resolve any issues or changes that arise during the course of the project.
• Work with clients and other stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and meets regulatory and client standards.

Requirements:

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in managing construction projects with budgets exceeding $5,000,000.
• PMP certification or a similar designation is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with project scheduling software (Microsoft Projects is an asset).
• Strong written communication skills (evident in resume and cover letter structure).
• Ability to confidently communicate verbally and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and plans.
• Pro-active self-starter with excellent organizational and planning skills.
