Job Summary
Job Description
Internal Audit Data Management & IA Analytics team is responsible for developing solutions that support Internal Audit’s automation and business application strategy. The team works closely with internal and external technology and professional services vendors to design and implement solutions that are focused on creating business value for internal auditors and management.
- Work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to design and implement solutions on a GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) platform that enhances the audit process.
- Collaborate with vendors, Project Manager and Product Owner to plan and coordinate releases.
- Provide technical expertise to support team on Tier 2/3 support issues.
What will you do?
Solution Delivery:
- Participate in the gathering of business requirements from stakeholders (Audit teams, audit clients, and executives) for change requests
- Create solution designs and implementation plans with business partners and vendors. Implement and present solution mockups to stakeholders.
- Lead development effort.
- Support User Acceptance Testing to ensure that changes are production ready.
- Create and keep up-to-date applications, systems, and infrastructure documentations.
Release Management:
- Coordinate with vendors, Product Owner, and Project Manager to plan releases.
- Ensure that application changes follow the Enterprise Change Management best practices
- Communicate release/fix plans and schedules to Product Owner, support team, and end users
Support:
- Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot Tier 2/3 support issues
- Work closely with vendors to coordinate and test hot-fixes/patches
- Strong academic background in quantitative disciplines such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.
- Strong development expertise using several server-side and client side technologies (JavaScript frameworks, HTML5/CSS, , React, Angular, NodeJS, JSP/Servlets, Vue.JS, and Python )
- Experience in development REST API and microservice solutions.
- Experience in development on SaaS and cloud-based platforms.
- Ability to communicate best practices and provide technical expertise, guidance, and knowledge transfer to the rest of the team.
- Strong knowledge and experience with traditional database technology (i.e. SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, TSQL)
- Experience with testing software, including unit, integration, end-to-end testing.
- Strong product development and management experience including user journey mapping, agile software methodology, requirements gathering and story writing.
- Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence, analytical and leadership skills essential to release management.
- Experience in collaborating with technical vendors and cross functional teams.
- Ability to execute and deliver under pressure and ambiguity.
- Experience with developing applications on GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) platforms such as MetricStream, ServiceNow or ZenGRC, etc.
- Knowledge of solution architecture (integrating vendor software)
