Our client, a full-service law firm located in North Vancouver, is seeking a recent LAA graduate to join their team and support their busy solicitor team, specifically focusing on their residential real estate practice. While the role will involve basic steps in conveyancing initially, the goal is to become fully capable of handling transactions from start to finish over time. This position requires flexibility and in-person work as you will need to occasionally meet clients and handle in-office tasks.

Responsibilities: Draft, revise, and finalize letters and legal documents Organize and prepare documents for execution Communicate with clients professionally, set appointments, gather information, and provide updates Handle administrative tasks such as file organization, opening and closing files, maintaining a bring-forward system, and invoice preparation Liaise with external parties, including other law firms, government agencies, and service providers Contribute to the development of firm processes and legal templates for solicitors Assist with the overall smooth running of the real estate department Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience as an LAA/Paralegal, ideally with a focus on residential real estate Successful completion of an LAA certificate or diploma from an accredited institution is an asset Proficiency with legal software such as Word, BC Online, LTSA, Econveyance, and Esilaw A strong team player with the ability to adapt and be flexible in a busy, fast-paced environment David Aplin & Associates Inc., operating as Aplin, and its associated brands, CompuStaff and Impact Recruitment, is an award-winning employment agency connecting diverse, top-tier talent with exceptional organizations across North America.
