Bemac Collision Group is a group of automotive repair locations across Ottawa and the surrounding areas. We are looking for an experienced Body Repair Technician to join our team.

Job Description
  • Review estimate and efficiently plan repair.
  • Restore the structural integrity of damaged vehicles by removing damaged components and resistance spot weld or glue in replacement components, when necessary, as per OEM specifications;
  • Remove and install bolt-on components such as hoods, deck lids, fenders, trim, doors, glass and interior components;
  • Repair damage to body panels and replace sheet metal;
  • Verify dimensional accuracy and system functions using precise measuring systems and manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Use frame machines to straighten damaged frames and uni-bodies.
  • Repair or replace damage to body panels and components made of a variety of materials.
  • Light automotive mechanical repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Track and record work and hours completed.
  • Work as a team to deliver vehicles promptly.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-5 years experience in the Automotive Body Repair industry or a related field
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Red seal certification is an asset
  • Must be able to provide basic tools to perform day-to-day work.
  • Maintain a full-time working schedule
