Business Development Manager, Consumer Electronics and Entertainment Media
This role requires a leader who can develop scalable mechanisms, build cross-functional partnerships, and demonstrate strong executive presence across Retail stakeholders. As a Business Development Manager, you will leverage data-drive analytics to develop creative solutions that drive business growth.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including site merchandising, buying, pricing, inventory management, operations, online marketing, and finance to optimize performance for our vendor partners.

Key job responsibilities
Develop and implement mechanisms, reporting frameworks, and tooling that empower category teams to incremental business with existing vendors and new vendors while ensuring they have the insights and capabilities needed to succeed.
Establish metrics and KPIs that measure category team performance, create reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into business health, and use data to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
Design and implement repeatable processes and mechanisms that can be adopted across multiple category teams, ensuring consistency in approach while allowing for category-specific customization.
Chart clear roles and responsibilities across category teams, establishing accountability frameworks and decision-making processes that scale across the organization.
Drive alignment on the Category Business Development roadmap with stakeholders across retail category leaders and coordinated execution and shared accountability for business outcomes.
Demonstrate strong presence and influence with leadership, translating business insights into actionable strategies, securing buy-in for key initiatives, and driving strategic decision-making across the organization.

- 3+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services
- Experience bringing technology products to market in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
- Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
- Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
