What is the opportunity?
The Regional Coordinator will provide administrative support and contributes to the Regional Vice President’s action plans to achieve regional sales targets in the insurance Field Sales division. You will specifically support the Quebec, Ottawa and Atlantic region in an office environment in Laval.Done by effectively coordinating initiatives and day-to-day activities to ensure RVP’s are organized and focused on sales growth targets. You will provide day to day financial management on behalf of RVP and provides on-site support for Regional office, as well as Event Planning support.
You will serve as the first point of contact for the RVPs to engage head office partners on their behalf to solve problems, answer questions, on their behalf, with high priority.
What will you do?- Coordinate all administrative duties for the Regional Vice-President and Regional Directors including calendar, meeting, stationery, expense management and oversee the efficiency of day-today operations
- Coordinate office support: Reports - production/printing/filing/packaging, maintain and order equipment supplies, invoice payments, budget processing &Expense Claims review, preparation of metrics for RVP, prepare quarterly and annual reviews, compliance store walk reports
- Assist at client seminars & events including packaging of materials
- Manage all travel, hotel and car rental arrangements
- Coordinate team onboarding and training schedules and prepare PowerPoint presentations and other documents
- Plan, source and execute regional team meetings
- Act as the office manager for RVP’s and RD’s for Eastern Canada and act as a back-up to other Coordinators/Assistants
- Keep current with overall calendar of activity (product launches, national and regional events, sales management activities)
What will you need to be successful?
Must have:
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.
- High level of written skills required (French and English)
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with others and be perceived as a team player
- Strong time management and problem solving skills
- Client management and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of insurance sales force environment nice to have
