We’re seeking a Senior Property Accountant to play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis for a portfolio of commercial properties. Key Responsibilities- Manage financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, rent rolls, bank reconciliations, and GST filings.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with property managers and asset management teams.
- Support financial due diligence for acquisitions and work closely with auditors and tax advisors.
- Ensure lease data accuracy within Yardi and maintain compliance with accounting standards.
- Contribute to process improvements and mentor junior accountants, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Handle special projects and ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions.
