We are seeking an Accountant to join our team located in Toronto, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for key accounting functions, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial services. This position offers a contract employment opportunity with the potential for in-office work for 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently process customer credit applications in line with operational standards
- Manage and maintain accurate customer credit records to ensure data integrity
- Monitor customer accounts proactively and take relevant actions when necessary
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure financial accuracy
- Utilize accounting software systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency
- Perform auditing tasks to ensure financial compliance and transparency
- Use enterprise resource planning tools to manage resources and improve productivity
- Work with ADP - Financial Services to manage payroll and other related tasks
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally
- Engage with senior stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
