HRIS Consultant

Work Arrangement is 95% remote. Consultant is expected to be in office for team meetings biweekly.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as a central point of contact for three executive stakeholders and work with mid-level management.
2. Lead the end-to-end implementation of the HRIS and plan the transition from current state to future state.
3. Effectively manage HRIS projects, including the design and implementation of system modifications or upgrades.
4. Monitor and ensure the HRIS systems are compliant with the two collective bargaining agreements including timely updates and modifications as per the agreements.
5. Maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in the field of HRIS through continual learning, trainings, and engagement with stakeholders.
6. Manage benefits administration and payroll processing using the HRIS platform, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
7. Oversee the prescriptive nature of unions, e.g., annual allocations for items such as safety shoes.
8. Train and provide troubleshooting tips to end users on a regular basis to ensure smooth operations.
9. Ensure the security of HRIS information by ensuring appropriate controls, audits, and balances.
