Position Summary:

Tacten is seeking experienced Level 3 (IRATA) Rope Access Technicians to support our client in Fort Saskatchewan on an upcoming turnaround!

Project Details:

Project Based work with opportunity to work additional projects with Tacten
6/1 Rotation, 12 hour shifts
LOA Provided
Start Date: June 28^th with the project running until around August 3^rd

Responsibilities:

Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a Level III Rope Access Technician
Be conversant with relevant work techniques
Assist other technicians as required
Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
Ensure operational safety of all equipment

Requirements:

IRATA Level 3 Certification (Certification and log book will be required at time of hire)
Journeyman ticketed in pipefitting, welding or electrical would be an asset
Exceptional safety and quality awareness
Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level

Safety Certifications

CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO
CSE/M (Confined Space and Monitor and Entry)
First Aid certification
ESC Fall Protection an asset
