IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician - NWR Turnaround - Fort Saskatchewan

Position Summary:

Tacten is seeking experienced Level 3 (IRATA) Rope Access Technicians to support our client in Fort Saskatchewan on an upcoming turnaround!

Project Details:

  • Project Based work with opportunity to work additional projects with Tacten
  • 6/1 Rotation, 12 hour shifts
  • LOA Provided
  • Start Date: June 28^th with the project running until around August 3^rd

Responsibilities:

  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
  • Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a Level III Rope Access Technician
  • Be conversant with relevant work techniques
  • Assist other technicians as required
  • Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
  • Ensure operational safety of all equipment

Requirements:

  • IRATA Level 3 Certification (Certification and log book will be required at time of hire)
  • Journeyman ticketed in pipefitting, welding or electrical would be an asset
  • Exceptional safety and quality awareness
  • Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
Safety Certifications
  • CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO
  • CSE/M (Confined Space and Monitor and Entry)
  • First Aid certification
  • ESC Fall Protection an asset
