We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Accounting/Finance Manager in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The selected candidate will join an organization within the political industry, with a blend of in-office and remote work.
As a Patient Accounting/Finance Manager, your responsibilities will involve managing financial processes, overseeing staff, and assisting with audits.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the management of financial functions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Utilize accounting software systems, including ADP, BlackLine, and Concur, to streamline financial operations
- Lead a team of eight, providing guidance for two direct reports and six indirect reports
- Assist with the preparation and completion of year-end audits
- Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient business process management
- Manage billing functions to ensure accurate and timely invoicing
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial government regulations in all accounting practices
- Monitor and resolve any issues related to customer credit applications and records
- Adapt to the use of Vivid software for business operations
- Balance workload effectively to meet organization needs within the designated work hours of 8:30-4:30.
