M-Files Systems Training Specialist - Calgary
Reporting to Java’s Director of Systems, the M-Files Systems Training Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing Java’s Global M-Files Training Program and to provide the training leadership which will ensure that Java Group personnel understand M-Files features and benefits, have a detailed understanding of how to use the software tool for the purposes of its application, and are effective in doing so.
The M-Files Systems Training Specialist must possess excellent communication and instructional skills, be customer service oriented, and must be able to explain the concepts to end users in a clear and concise way. They must also be able to troubleshoot issues that arise during the training process.
KEY (CORE) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute Java’s M-Files Global Training Program and Plan.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert in the usage of the various M-Files Systems deployments.
- Create M-Files training courses, presentations and related materials that can be delivered via Learning Management Systems, in person (group and individual sessions), and virtually using tools such as Teams.
- Create user documentation such as Procedures, Work Instructions and Quick Reference Guides.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Functional Leads and Departmental Managers to plan and coordinate the delivery of training sessions for M-Files Solutions, including:
- Project Management /Document Control Systems
- Corporate Document Management Systems
- Corporate Applications
- Conduct system demonstrations and deliver training to M-Files system users.
- Provide ongoing training support to system users.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, courses and materials.
- Identify and report M-Files software issues discovered during training.
- Collect user feedback to assist in continuous systems improvements.
- Participate in testing of new M-Files features and developments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Secondary school graduation or equivalent with an emphasis on technology
- A background in learning development
- Experience with developing and delivering software training.
- Experience working in the construction industry.

OTHER:
- Travel is a requirement. You must be able to travel to various offices and project sites throughout Canada and the US.
