The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in downtown Vancouver is seeking a Bilingual Associate Advisor to join a successful Advisory Team. You will deepen client relationships by offering sound advice and support to clients and to the Investment Advisor.Identifying and assisting growth of new business opportunities will also be key.
What will you do?- Coordinate meetings and events for the Investment Advisor with clients and prospects: help determine agenda and key topics, prepare documentation, execute post-meeting work. Attend client meetings when required.
- Provide proactive client service with a problem-resolution focus and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.
- Respond to client account inquiries and remain accountable to follow-up, as required.
- Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation, and client service plans.
- Identify and execute opportunities among existing client base for asset consolidation, referrals, etc.
- Trading and / or Portfolio Rebalancing
- Support advisory team and client through the Wealth Management process. Help gather relevant information, coordinate activities with Wealth Management specialists, track progress and follow up.
- Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC
- Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course or Investment Management Techniques (IMT)
- 2-4 years or more of professional experience within investment industry
- University degree
- A self-directed individual with a growth and goals-oriented mindset
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Highly-developed client service skills

The expected base salary range for this particular position is $38,000 - $55,000 -- depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
You have the potential to earn considerably more through RBCs robust discretionary bonus
program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
