Overview:

The Supply Chain and Operations Analyst has a foundational role in many key processes within Dole Canada Supply Chain and Operations. Reporting to the Associate Director of Customer Service, this role is the key creator of data driven information for the Supply Chain and Operations team.

The Supply Chain and Operations Analyst will provide information and statistics modeled from historical data to allow for structured and meaningful decision making and strategy creation. The Supply Chain and Operations Analyst will work closely with all other roles in the team and support other areas of the business as required.

Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities
  • Strong Technical abilities to utilize Microsoft Power BI to build key KPI related control towers.
  • Penalty Management Reporting– Customer Fines
  • Fill Rates
  • Freight Reports
  • Penalty Management Reporting– Customer Fines
  • Warehousing Inventory Management – 3PL Book to Book Review– Warehouse Vs SAP.
  • Inventory reconciliation
  • PO Inbound Receipts
  • Fill Rates
  • Out of Stock
  • Discontinuations
  • Back in Stock Dates
  • Provide analytical support, reports and tools to the entire Supply Chain team.
  • Review and Correct EDI Fails associated with shipments.
  • DRP Program Management – Build Programs, Managing half pallets, and Banners. MRP.
  • Challenge current processes, systems and tools to identify and implement opportunities for improvements
  • Generate insightful recommendations and present data in a format that is suitable for internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and build relationships to collaborate on projects and drive business changes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Requirements
  • Strong Microsoft BI Dashboard Management / Build capabilties
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain or System Projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Able to work with complex data systems and perform detailed analysis
  • Highly motivated and self-started with the ability to problem-solving experience, conducting and identifying root cause analysis, escalating issues as necessary and meet deadlines
  • Flexible to adapt to changing dynamics and problem-solving approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very detail-oriented with strong organizational, project and time management skills
  • University or College degree in Industrial Engineering, business technology management, or supply chain management is ideal
  • Previous experience with SAP or I2 is an asset
