Forklift Warehouse Associate - Part-time Afternoon

We're looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team at the Vaughan Distribution Centre. In this role, you’ll primarily operate the REACH forklift to handle all warehouse tasks, including receiving, labeling, and storing shipments, checking for any stock damage, maintaining accurate inventory records, and fulfilling customer orders with precision.
Location: Vaughan Distribution Centre
Schedule: Day shift, part-time (24 hours per week), Monday to Friday, from 3:00 pm to 11:30 PM.
Plus $1.50/hour PRIME
What you will accomplish with us:
- Operate the REACH forklift for loading, unloading, and organizing inventory.
- Physically receive goods, confirm quantities, and enter details into the computer system using the REACH forklift as needed.
- Pick and pack orders for counter sales, warehouse transfers, or courier deliveries, efficiently utilizing the REACH forklift.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, supporting with the REACH forklift for any necessary handling.
- Assist with customer loading and unloading of parts, either by hand or with the REACH forklift.
- Stock shelves and organize overstock locations using the REACH forklift.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring shelves and work areas are tidy.
- Follow all company safety regulations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned, such as opening containers, preparing orders, and conducting inventory checks, often with the support of the REACH forklift.
- Successful candidates are hard-working, organized, and detail-oriented, with a knack for tracking stock to keep inventory steady and a strong proficiency in REACH forklift operations.
What You Bring to Our Team:
- Previous experience operating a REACH forklift (counterbalance experience also valuable)
- Dangerous Goods certification (an asset)
- Ability to lift or move heavy products (up to 50 lbs)
- Team player with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
