Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling. Job Responsibilities: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control systems and procedures.
Monitor and analyze production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and implement measures to improve customer satisfaction and product quality. Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
Assist in preparing for external audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and non-conformances. Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including inspection records, audit reports, and corrective action plans. Prepare and present quality reports to management. Assist in training employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness throughout the organization. Work with suppliers to ensure that incoming materials meet quality specifications and conduct supplier audits and assessments as needed. Qualifications: Technologist/Technician Diploma in Engineering required.
Certification as an CQE would be an asset. 1 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required, preferably in automotive manufacturing. Proficiency in quality control tools and techniques; including knowledge of quality management systems, as well as design output, metrology and instrumentation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Working Conditions: The role may require occasional travel to supplier sites and other company locations.
Work is typically performed in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to noise, chemicals, and other industrial hazards.
