About Our Client

My client has an immediate need for a Project Manager with 5+ years of experience in the construction of Bridges for their Woodstock, Ontario office.

• Develop diverse, high-performing teams through coaching, training and development.
• Be accountable for the successful delivery of multiple projects.
• Provide oversight, leadership and be accountable for the development and maintenance of project schedules and execution plans.
• Oversee preconstruction phase, team selection and ensure the teams execute the stages on a portfolio of projects.
• Develop strategies and action plans to overcome project execution challenges.

• Knowledge of construction techniques and disciplines, production and cost control, scheduling, safety policies and regulations and engineering requirements.
• Knowledge of Ontario Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
• Knowledge of Federal and Provincial Acts & Regulations.
• Knowledge of contracts, procedures, impacts of changes on cost and schedules.
• Post Secondary degree or diploma in Construction or Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years experience in construction with at least 5 years of managing large projects and bridges.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Computer literate.
• Adaptable and flexible.
• Ability to manage large groups, attract and hire workers.
• Sound understanding of Risk Management.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability.
• Must be able to work under pressure.

• base salary of up to $160,000
