About Our Client
This position is with a highly reputable large organization in the industrial construction industry, with a strong presence across Canada and the United States. The company specializes in temperature controlled light industrial and data centre construction projects and is renowned for its commitment to excellence.
Job Description- Lead and manage complex construction projects, specifically related to data centres valued in the $100-200M range - assemble a network and supply chain of local market industry contacts to secure and execute projects
- Lead and manage the Canadian Construction Division for the company - P&L responsibility
- Establish relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality
- Develop and implement project plans and schedules
- Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Manage risk and implement mitigation strategies
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company safety policies

The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Director should have:
- A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in managing full cycle data centre construction projects valued between $100M and $200M in scope
- Strong experience managing construction P&L's of 10+ people in a GC/CM environment
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Expertise in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
- Knowledge of construction industry regulations and safety standards
- A competitive salary range in and around $250,000 - Total compensation North of $300,000
