Financial Officer

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Financial Officer for a 3-6month contract opportunity with our client in Downtown Vancouver, BC. The opportunity is a hybrid role, in-office Tuesday and Thursday. The ideal candidate has experience with Financial reporting requirements, with strong communication skills.

The Financial Officer will have the following responsibilities:

  • Creation, tracking and finalization of travel or other claims cost compared against the most economical means
  • Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making processes within the organization
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts to guide business planning and operations
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards to maintain organizational integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and resource allocation
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
  • Performing document and file management functions, including e-filing
  • Photocopying, faxing and scanning documents
  • Required reports and returns are competed and submitted within mandated timelines
  • Provide weekly updates on progress initiatives

The Financial Officer must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in the areas of Financial operations and monthly financial reporting;
  • 2+ years of experience working with Large-Scale financial operations;
  • Must have strong communication skills and ability to communicate financial concepts;
  • Must have experience with ERP tools, with SAP being a strong asset;
  • Experience in financial analysis would be considered an asset;
  • Experience with Chrome River Expense management would be considered an asset;
