1 Short Term Contract Full Time, Duration: 10 monthsSalary Range: $54,969 to $68,713 per annum
Work mode and Location: on-site at 7795 Torbram Road, Brampton, ON
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Reporting to the Team Lead you will be responsible for carrying out daily operational requirements of the Region of Peel’s in-house mobile sign communication services.
What you will do in this role:
- Organizing, processing and tracking service requests for mobile sign placement from other corporate departments and scheduling of mobile sign work orders as required including but not limited to individual sorting and packaging of sign letters for the required message.
- Liaising with municipal and regional staff for work related to mobile signs including but not limited to permit applications, sign by-law compliance, sign relocation and invoicing clients.
- Delivery and placement of mobile signs on designated sites as per service request.
- Providing quality customer service to all departmental clients by facilitating the timely placement and removal of mobile signs while ensuring accuracy of message.
- Receiving, storing and tracking of all related materials and supplies utilized in the in-house mobile sign services.
- Responsible for housekeeping and inventory control for the mobile sign work station to ensure that the work station is kept in an organized condition and all supply requirements are updated through timely orders from suppliers.
- Maintenance of database for tracking service requests, asset use and cost allocation for mobile sign services.
- Provide data in preparing reports and updates for management related to the operations of the in-house mobile sign services (e.g. cost per sign, service requests record, and work scheduling)
- Fix vandalized signs, repair damaged signs, and sign maintenance as required.
What the role requires:
- Post-secondary education in Business discipline or related field
- Three (3) years’ of industry work experience
- Physically able to meet the requirements of the job including heavy lifting
- Experienced driving extended trailers required
- Organized, with strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- Strong public relation skills combined with polished customer service and communication skills
- Proficient using MS Office computer applications
- Must possess a valid ‘G’ class driver’s license
