Job Description:
Salary Range: $36.84 - $51.77
Position Summary:
Part-time X-Ray position with rotations in CT. The Medical Radiation Technologist performs a variety of radiological imaging techniques, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, operating room studies and CT. The part-time position will work days, evenings and nights including weekends and Statuatory holidays.The MRT will also participate in student clinical education. The physical demands of the role may include but are not limited to standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. This position contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and ImagingTechnologists of Ontario (CMRITO) required
- Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) preferred
- Experience in general radiography, gastrics, mobile radiography, intra-operative radiography including orthopedic radiographic OR procedures is required.
- Experience in CT including IV access and contrast media injections is required
- Evidence of continuing education related to the profession is required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Regular attendance is required
