We are looking for a meticulous and personable Receptionist to provide contract front desk support for our client in North York, Ontario. This is a contract position, ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors warmly and ensure they are directed to the appropriate staff or department.
- Maintain the reception area in a clean and organized state, ensuring all necessary materials, such as forms and brochures, are readily available.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a courteous and timely manner.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries to the appropriate recipients.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as scheduling, filing, or data entry, as needed.
- Ensure all office equipment at the front desk, such as fax machines and printers, is in working order.
- Address visitor or staff inquiries promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
