Title: Clinical Education Lead – Simulation & Learning Strategies
Salary: $104,535 - $130,960 per year (pay range explained below)*
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday (core hours 9am – 3pm)
Location: Sinclair, Downtown Vancouver – Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, summer 2025.

About the role
As Clinical Education Lead, you will – play a vital role in shaping healthcare in First Nations communities.You will be reporting to the Manager Simulation and Learning Strategies, this role is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating high-quality clinical experiential and other learning strategies including simulation-based education to enhance safety and quality of healthcare delivery in First Nations communities.
You are an innovator, knowledge translator, facilitator and change agent accountable for innovating clinical simulation and other learning strategies to support the unique cultural and clinical practice environments in First Nations communities.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have/be –
  • Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in nursing, nursing service administration, nursing education or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Master’s degree in nursing, education or a health-related field is an asset.
  • Eligibility for registration as a registered nurse in British Columbia.
  • Completion of course work and/or certification applicable to clinical simulation education such as: Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE), Canadian Certified Simulation Nurse Educator (CCSNE), Keystones of Healthcare Simulation Certificate Program is an asset.
  • Four years of experience in clinical nursing practice in a complex health care environment including progressive education and leadership experience.
  • Two years’ recent related experience and two years’ formal experience in simulation education and curriculum development is an asset; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.
