Early Childhood Educator - Vancouver

Adecco is currently hiring for an Early Childhood Educator for a full-time opportunity in Gold River, BC.

In this role, you’ll help create a warm and culturally rich environment where young children can grow emotionally, physically, and cognitively - setting strong roots for a lifetime of learning.

If you have your ECE certification, over five years of teaching experience, and a heartfelt ability to connect with children and families, you’ll feel right at home in this role.

• Salary: $27.42 – $31.54 (based on qualifications and experience)
• Location: Gold River, British Columbia
• Schedule: Full-time | Permament

• Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in a safe and nurturing environment
• Integrate First Nation culture and values into the curriculum and classroom practices
• Partner with families, recognizing them as the child’s first educators
• Prepare children for a smooth transition from preschool to the public school system
• Maintain compliance with the BC Ministry of Children and Families regulations
• Communicate student progress regularly and conduct parent meetings when needed
• Plan and implement monthly themes and individualized curriculum
• Deliver a quarterly newsletter to parents and complete annual child development assessments
• Manage learning materials and ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available

• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
• Early Childhood Educator Certificate (3-year program completed)
• Valid Standard First Aid or Child Safe Certificate
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an educator
• Experience working with children with special needs is a strong asset

• Clear RCMP background and Vulnerable Sector Check
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
