Our Surrey client is seeking a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience supporting busy partners and managing complex litigation files.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and format legal documents and correspondence
- File and serve court documents in accordance with deadlines and procedural rules
- Manage calendars, schedule hearings, discoveries, and client meetings
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic litigation files
- Coordinate with court registries, opposing counsel, and clients
- Assist with trial preparation, including assembling materials and exhibits
- Conduct legal research and review case law as required
- Process billing, track deadlines, and manage file administration
