Arrow Environmental is looking for an Equipment Operator Site Attendant at our Ingerbelle compost facility located at Mine Hill Brake Check in Princeton, BC.

Responsibilities:

As an Equipment Operator Site Attendant, you will:

  • Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, screeners, and graders based on qualifications
  • Perform on equipment daily: electronically logged inspections, routine maintenance, and clearing away debris (tracks, in cab, under screener)
  • Assist with road prep, snow removal, sanding, and watering to ensure the facility is accessible and maintained through the season
  • Regular manual labour to clean and maintain the facility and equipment
  • Provide internal and external customer service excellence
  • Work in adherence to all safe work practices, procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements
  • Provide feedback to employer on working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of yard, shop, department, or work crew
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

You Possess:

  • Previous relevant experience operating front end loaders and excavators
  • Screener and grader experience is an asset
  • Experience with routine maintenance operations
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Experience working with computers is an asset
  • Level 1 First Aid
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment as a member of a team
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
