  • Identifying new growth opportunities and working with the team to put plans into action.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.

In our organization, we work together to ensure the success of each team member: we share successes and challenges, and our responsibility to one another makes us stronger. This is full-time position which requires reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Areas of focus will be southern and south-eastern Ontario.

Company Overview

We are an industry-driven, national, not for profit organization committed to working with builders interested in responsible sustainability practices in the residential building sector. The organization offers programs for Single Family (including Net Zero Energy+), Single Family Renovations, High Density (including multi-storey, residential tower, and mixed-use), High Density Renovations, Communities, and Restorations with Small Commercial in pilot.

Recognizing it is industry working on the ground, they play an integral role in our program development.

Committed to the integrity of its programs, Built Green Canada provides learning opportunities that allow for continuous improvements to building practices, participation affordability and third-party certification, which requires builders to contract Energy Advisors to assess the effectiveness of the systems in the home.

While energy efficiency is a fundamental component of these programs, integrating the EnerGuide label through Natural Resources Canada (applicable to our Single Family and SF Renovation programs), Built Green Canada goes beyond energy efficiency, moving the industry toward a more holistic approach to sustainable building practices.

An approach that includes the preservation of natural resources, reduction of pollution and GHGs, ventilation and air quality, and the improvement of home durability.

This holistic approach means using advanced building technologies that consider the home as a system or a sum of its parts—everything from site orientation, building materials, HVAC equipment, windows, water and electrical consumption, and builder practices.

These component parts all contribute to the way Built Green Canada teaches builders how to use the latest technologies to ensure a healthier, more durable home with a lower environmental impact, costs savings to the homebuyer and choices they can make on how to have a greener home.

Built Green Canada began in 2003, and since then builders have worked with us to complete 53,884 BUILT GREEN® certified single family, MURB, renovations, and high density (including multi-storey, residential tower, mixed-use and renovations) projects, small commercial, as well as three community certifications, represented in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Ontario (as at December 31, 2024).
