Senior Project Coordinator required for Corporate Camera project. (2024-052)

Our GTA based, Municipal Government client requires the services of a Senior Project Coordinator required for their Corporate Camera project.

ROLE:

The candidate will support The Corporate Camera Program (CCP), which has been initiated to develop a consistent, and centralized approach for implementation and

oversight of Client's closed circuit television (CCTV) systems, policies and processes. It has the goal to integrate principles of reliability, customer and employee care across the organization into CCTV practice.

The program objective is to support the delivery of video-related projects, introduce innovative and effective applications of video technology and ensure that all key

stakeholders and executive team members remain informed.

The objectives of the CCP include enabling:

• Stronger safety & security planning and enforcement
• The use of video technology and data to provide high-quality customer service experiences
• Consistency and scalability through processes, design and operations
• Financial sustainability through the use of video technology and data

CCP Governance

The CCP has been initiated to develop a modern, consistent and centralized approach for implementation, communication and oversight of Client's closed circuit television (CCTV) systems. This includes, but is not limited to, a central source of CCTV data, a consistent communications medium, a consistent evaluation and prioritization process of CCTV initiatives, new and/or revised policies, standards and procedures to support Client's business needs, agreements for economies of scales and simpler procurements, an integrated eco-system with easier access, and sharing of information for better decision making.

MUST HAVE:

University degree or college diploma in a related field (e.g. - Computer Science, Information System, Engineering, Business) or equivalent experience

Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Lead

Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and practices.

Knowledge of, and experience in, development of Request for Proposals.

Experience in implementing CCTV solutions is required

Experience in initiatives involving construction activities, IT systems and multiple stakeholders

Experience in privacy controls (e.g., policies, privacy impact assessments, security assessments)

High awareness of current video management technologies, systems and artificial intelligence applications

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience implementing solutions in transit or related organizations
• Genetec Security Center - Omnicast knowledge
• Public Service and Transit experience
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI
