Linux Systems Administrator – Ansible Automation
Overview:
We’re looking for a talented Linux Systems Administrator with hands-on expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Ansible Automation Platform 2 (AAP2). If you're passionate about automation, infrastructure as code, and driving operational efficiency through DevOps practices, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Location: GTA, Hybrid 2-Day in OfficeStatus: Contract
Responsibilities:
- Administer and automate Linux/Unix systems, with a focus on RHEL
- Develop and manage Ansible Playbooks, Roles, and Inventories
- Operate and maintain Ansible Tower / Automation Controller environments
- Leverage Ansible Galaxy and Collections to scale automation
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
- Write custom automation scripts using Python or Bash
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement containerized solutions
- Contribute to the scaling and optimization of automation workflows
- (Optional) Integrate automation with ServiceNow for workflow orchestration
Qualifications:
- Strong Linux/Unix administration experience
- Proficiency in RHEL and Ansible Automation Platform 2
- Expertise in shell scripting and command-line tools
- Deep understanding of Ansible and infrastructure automation
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps methodologies
- Scripting skills in Python or Bash
Nice to Have:
- Experience integrating Ansible automation with ServiceNow
