About Our Client
Construction Manager / Builder of Light & Heavy Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Structures.
Job Description
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of sub trades on site on a daily basis;
• Site responsibility for on time on budget construction;
• Coordinate mobilization/demobilization of resources;
• Ensure quality build on the following: building layout, interior and exterior wall layout, workmanship, grades, hardscaping, soft scaping, parking lot;
• Track progress on site daily to meet work schedules and budgets;
• Prepare and deliver progress reports, quantities to Project Managers and Management on regular basis;
• Build three week look ahead schedules.
• Liaise with various consultants, government inspectors, architects, engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers;
• Identify any scope changes;
• Coordinating with tenant general contractors, sub trades, timelines;
• May be 'on call';
• Ensure and enforce compliance to all company, client and legislated Safety policies and procedures;
• Any additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

The Successful Applicant
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience as an ICI Construction Site Superintendent
• Experience with large-scale Commercial, Institutional, and/or Mid/High-Rise Residential construction projects
• Schools, LTC facilities, Residencies, Condos, and other Commercial, Institutional, and/or Residential construction projects
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and regulations
• High degree of organization and commitment
• Present well to clients and other stakeholders
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards
