We're looking for a Liaison Officer to join us in the delivery of our Total Care Education System®.
 •  Advise international students on academic and personal matters.
 •  Act as a point of contact and referral for students.
 •  Work with:
 •  Academic departments to communicate with parents about their concerns.
 •  Other departments to ensure that a high level of care is provided for all students.
 •  Liaise with agents and partnership schools.
 •  Provide service to prospective applicants for admission
 •  Assist with:
 •  Special projects as they are assigned
 •  Event planning for various events throughout the year (i.e., delegation visits,graduation and orientation)
 •  Translate information for Chinese parents and students on a variety of academic,social, emotional, and physical issues.
 •  Write or translate articles for news releases; develop strong links and communication betweenCIC campus life and social media.
 •  Support other members of the International Liaison team when needed.
 •  Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of the summer camp program.
 •  Must professionally and positively represent CIC during all interactions/liaising with students,parents, internal, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

 •  Firsthand experience in the Canadian education system.
 •  Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) in both English and Chinese.
 •  Excellent people management skills and decision-making skills.
 •  Strong computer skills, including all Microsoft products

Hours of Work:

 •  Regular business hours
 •  Ability to work weekends and holidays to accommodate operational needs.
 •  Work outside standard work hours is required
 •  Require to travel

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
