Description: Administrative assistant performs a variety of administrative duties in support of managerial and professional employers
Education: Completion of Secondary (high) School is required. Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries or previous clerical experience is required.
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
Position: Permanent - Full Time
Number of Openings: 1
Wage: $28/hr.
Language: English is required.
Job Duties:
• Schedule and confirm appointments with clients.
• Answer telephone, open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail.
• Relay telephone calls and messages amongst office staff.
• Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, reports, and invoices.
• Set up and maintain manual as well as computerized information filing systems.
• Determine, order, and establish office procedures/supplies.
• Greet visitors, answer telephone and electronic enquiries.
