Position Summary:
As a Visual Inspector at Acuren, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of equipment, contributing directly to the success of our clients' operations. Responsibilities:
• Observes work in progress to assure conformance with requirements and acceptable workmanship
• Inspection of process piping, power piping and structures from material verification stage to final commissioning and installation
• Utilizes applicable procedures, codes, and standards to evaluate test and inspection reports, recommending acceptable or rejection/or rejection
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times
Requirements:
• Previous experience in shovel operations (electric & hydraulic)
• Previous experience in haul truck inspections
• Proficiency with CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment is essential
• Possession of CWB Level 1 or 2 Certification is highly desirable
• Additional certifications such as API 510/570, CGSB, UT, MT, and/or PT are considered assets
• Red Seal Welder with CWB would be an asset
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding quality standards
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
