Position Overview
As a Senior Accountant specializing in individual accounting, you will be crucial in offering personalized financial solutions. Your responsibilities will include handling personal tax returns, retirement planning, and providing specialized accounting services for high-net-worth individuals, professionals, and business owners.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and review personal tax returns for individuals
• Provide comprehensive retirement planning services
• Offer specialized accounting services for high net-worth individuals
• Assist clients in navigating GST/HST housing rebate processes
• Handle accounting needs for professionals, including doctors, engineers,
• lawyers, and consultants
• Cater to the unique accounting requirements of business owners
Qualifications
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
• 8+ years of experience in individual accounting
• Expertise in personal tax return preparation and review
• Proven experience in retirement planning
• Familiarity with high-net-worth individuals and their financial needs
• Knowledge of GST/HST housing rebate processes
• Experience in accounting for professionals and business owners
Skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to provide personalized financial advice
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
