Job Summary:
The Crew Logistics Coordinator is responsible for arranging all travel and accommodation for our Flight Crew.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for creating and coordinating hotel, air, and ground transportation bookings required on a monthly basis; and as a result of day to day operations, schedule changes, delays, and/or cancellations
• Communicate with Crew Members and update crew schedules with complete and accurate travel information
• Actively communicate with Operational Teams to ensure travel arrangements meet safety, regulatory, efficiency, and service levels
• Proactively plan alternate arrangements to mitigate any schedule disruptions caused by last minute issues with hotel, air, or ground transportation
• Track and analyse hotel and transportation trends for scheduling and costs optimization.
• Assist with Hotel Procurement and invoice reconciliation
• Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operation; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy
• Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Crew Scheduler/Planner
• Knowledge of 705 Canadian Aviation Regulations pertaining to crewing
• Experience with Navblue NOC, Skyspeed, and knowledge of Porter’s FOAG is an asset
• Experience negotiating and working closely with hotel and transportation stakeholders is an asset
• Works well under pressure, performs and coordinates multiple tasks simultaneously
• Able to identify problems, their sources and the potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption
• Advanced computer skills and knowledge of google suite products
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, shift work and overtime if necessary
• Superior communication skills, both oral and written
