About Our Client
Our client operates as a comprehensive General Contractor, Construction Manager, and Design Build Contractor across Canada. Specializing in industrial, commercial/retail, restaurant, and mid-rise residential projects, the company continues to excel in its diverse portfolio.
Job Description
• Complete all project start up documentation and follow project start up procedures
• Responsible for project safety
• Schedule
• Quality Control
• Daily communication with site personal
• Work with the estimating department on project
• Complete warranty work and Close Out/Deficiency with Project Coordinator
• Perform budget and estimate for project including design build, construction management, cost plus and other projects not considered typical tendered projects
• Forecast and work collaboratively with construction leadership to implement necessary changes to improve project performance
• Maintain relationship with client and communication on project progression, making necessary changes to comply with client needs under contractual obligations

The Successful Applicant
• 5+ years experience as a Project Manager in ICI construction
• Needs to travel to site at least once a week
• Possess a driver's license in good standing
• Knowledge of construction terms, processes and methods
• Have excellent time management skills and be responsible for several projects at one time
• Have a complete understanding and ability to read and implement project drawings and specifications
• Show competence with various Project Management software programs and MS Office products
• Show competence, resistance and professionalism with conflict resolution
