International Coordination Specialist/Production Supervisor

We are seeking an International Coordination Specialist to join our team and work in close coordination with our Ottawa engineering team and our Thai-based production team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective adoption of engineering instructions by the production team in Thailand, and coordinating between the two teams to facilitate seamless communication and workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate between the Ottawa engineering team and the Thai-based production team to ensure the efficient implementation of engineering instructions.
2. Facilitate communication and information exchange between the two teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines.
3. Adapt to the time difference and work flexible hours to accommodate communication and coordination needs between the Ottawa and Thai teams.
4. Monitor the progress of engineering instructions adoption by the production team and provide feedback to the Ottawa engineering team as needed.
5. Identify and address any communication or workflow issues that may arise between the two teams, and propose solutions to enhance coordination.
6. Act as a liaison between the teams, utilizing your fluency in Thai and English to facilitate effective cross-cultural communication.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, or a related field.
• Fluency in both Thai and English to effectively communicate with the Thai-based production team and the Ottawa engineering team.
• Prior experience in electronic assembly and/or quality assurance to understand the technical aspects of production processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and intercultural sensitivity to ensure effective collaboration between geographically dispersed teams.
• Ability to adapt to frequent travel to the Thai subsidiary for on-site coordination as needed.
Location:
This position will be based in Ottawa, Canada, with frequent travel to the Thai subsidiary for on-site coordination as required.
