We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare sector, leading acute care or long-term care construction projects. With a passion for successful project delivery, you are focused on delivering new construction and capital improvement/renovation projects.

Responsibilities:

 •  Play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of various projects across the healthcare sector, spanning from long-term care to community health facilities
 •  Develop strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client’s goals and objectives
 •  Establish project organization structure, roles, responsibilities as well as communication protocols
 •  Work on long-term care healthcare projects valued with various project delivery models and ensure all work complies with long term care models of care, standards, policies and procedures
 •  Coordinate, chair and participate in various project management and site meetings
 •  Pre-qualify, brief, develop scopes, develop RFPs, interview, evaluate, and arrange for the employment or contract of Consultants
 •  Pre-qualify, brief, oversee the tendering and bid analysis, and arrange for the employment of contractor services required for the complete execution of the Construction Work
 •  Initiate and maintain required project-related documents and deliver all work in accordance with Colliers Project Leaders Quality Management System processes and procedures
 •  Provide Project Leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from Project Initiation to Closeout

Qualifications:

 •  5 - 8 years’ experience in the capital projects environment representing the owner’s interest on various size health care projects utilizing various capital project delivery models
 •  A Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration, Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration or university degree or diploma in such disciplines as architecture and engineering, or a combination of education and health care project experience
 •  Comprehensive knowledge of and experience with alternate models of care, operations and environments in long-term care
 •  Knowledge and expertise in portfolio/program/project health care capital delivery management to achieve organizational strategic directions
 •  Strong knowledge of various types of construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, as well as building codes, contract law and relevant legislation
 •  Practical knowledge of procurement practices, bid preparation and contracts
 •  Strong organization skills and ability to work collaboratively with other internal and external stakeholders
 •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
