Our Manufacturing client is seeking a Financial Controller to join their leadership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a small team, general accounting, reporting, month end tasks, managing daily financial operations including costing and inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the accounting operations, including the review of journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and statutory reporting.
- Manage financial procedures in relation to AP/AR, Banking, Treasury.
- Provide timely and accurate F/C accounting analysis, focusing on cost, labour, burden, and materials.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports in accordance with IFRS guidelines.
- Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.
- Lead the tracking of labour, burden costs and oversee the proper handling of work-in-progress (WIP) and inventory.
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the organization.
- Use advanced excel functions like pivot tables for data analysis and decision making.
- Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate with the CFO in the development and execution of strategic plans.
