We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Shopper Marketing Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Shopper Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading the execution of in-store shopper marketing programs, creating shopper-focused assets, and ensuring seamless program implementation across key retail partners. You will play a crucial role in driving brand awareness and purchase intent through strategic in-store activations, multi-branded campaigns, and shopper insights-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities:
In-Store Shopper Marketing Execution:
- Lead the development and execution of in-store marketing materials, including displays, POS assets, and promotional signage, ensuring alignment with brand and retailer strategies.
- Partner with Sales, Integrated Marketing, and Brand teams to bring shopper marketing initiatives to life in key retail environments.
- Work closely with external partners to manage sampling, POS & display production, and execution of in-store shopper marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate the execution of multi-branded campaigns and ensure flawless in-market implementation.
Retail & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as the key liaison between marketing, sales, and retail partners to align in-store initiatives with business objectives.
- Support the sales team in customer presentations and retailer discussions by providing insights, best practices, and program recommendations.
- Partner with internal teams such as Brand Marketing and Insights to develop data-driven shopper marketing strategies.
Program Management & Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of in-store marketing programs, providing post-program analysis and recommendations for future optimizations.
- Track budgets, ensure accurate allocation of shopper marketing funds, and collaborate with finance teams on reconciliation.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, shopper behaviors, and competitive activity to continuously enhance in-store marketing strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, or brand marketing, preferably in a consumer-packaged goods (CPG) environment.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing plans.
- Strong understanding of retail dynamics and in-store marketing execution.
- Experience collaborating with sales teams, agency partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Some travel required (15%) within Canada and the USA
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with retail data platforms is an asset.
- Role requires 3 days per week on-site in Head Office with flexibility of more days in office dependent on business needs.
