Inside Sales Representative – Industrial & Food Service Products
Job Description:
As an Inside Sales Representative you will be responsible for developing new prospects and interact with existing customers primarily by phone to increase sales of our organization's products. You will provide sales and customers service support to customers over the phone and may conduct field visits as necessary.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is sales driven, is passionate about selling, and really wants to be a part of a growing organization. The role offers a competitive base salary with the opportunity to earn commission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the customer service, planning team, and sales department, the INSIDE SALES rep will contact an existing portfolio of current, lapsed, and prospective customers, to quote pricing and communicate product specials, new product introductions, buying incentives and promotions.
- Generate new sales opportunities through outbound call campaigns.
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions while showcasing the value added benefits.
- Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products.
- Negotiate and present price and terms in accordance with standard procedures.
- Additional duties may include assisting with customer inquiries concerning product information, processing orders, pricing and/or availability, order status, returns and backorders.
- Accurately update and maintain the CRM with call activity and detailed notes
- Required Skills:
- Fluently speak and write in French and English
- Hunter mentality, focussed on driving business results and increasing sales productivity.
- Previous inside sales experience – including outbound calls.
- Detailed and highly organized. High proficiency in CRM usage.
- Comfortable using the telephone to drive sales and keep in touch with customers
- Team-focused but able to work independently as required
- Positive attitude, ability to work with a high level of energy and focus
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Power Point
