HR Recruiter - Robert Half

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an HR Recruiter in Toronto, Ontario. The HR Recruiter will be an integral part of our team, handling a variety of tasks related to recruitment and human resources. The industry of operation is diverse, and the workplace is fast-paced and dynamic.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying potential candidates by screening applications for current job vacancies.
• Coordinating and scheduling interviews with hiring managers for candidates who have been shortlisted.
• Posting job advertisements on various job boards to attract potential applicants.
• Regularly conducting HR Planning sessions to ensure hiring needs are met.
• Building and maintaining relationships with career departments in post-secondary schools.
• Enhancing company branding through LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor for recruitment purposes.
• Ensuring all necessary background checks are completed for potential hires; conducting reference checks as needed.
• Keeping human resources information and related records systems accurate and up-to-date.
• Assisting in ensuring employee files and sign-off requirements are accurate and up-to-date.
• Coordinating employee engagement programs such as team-building days, staff events, and wellness activities.
• Practicing diverse, inclusive, and equitable hiring practices throughout the recruitment process.
• Developing, maintaining, and reporting on recruiting KPIs.
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, including health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, and legal regulations.
• Undertaking other duties as assigned by the management.
