Financial Reporting Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will assist in preparing financial statements, analyzing key reports, and supporting forecasting efforts. You will also play a critical part in monitoring contracts, grants, and funding agreements, while collaborating closely with management to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

• Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements and detailed transaction listings.
• Address inquiries and make necessary adjustments to financial reports during monthly reviews.
• Conduct variance analysis between budgets and forecasts on a monthly basis.
• Assist in the preparation of annual reports and oversee the Year-End process cycle.
• Participate in and provide support for annual audit activities.
• Communicate financial results and insights to management and the Board of Directors.
• Analyze bank reconciliations and carry out other assigned financial tasks.
• Develop and update templates for budgets, projections, and financial statements.
• Establish and enforce control procedures for managing contracts, grants, and donor reports.
• Coordinate payment processes for clients and vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
