Job Description Under the supervision of the Client Services Manager this position is responsible for ensuring smooth front-office operations, supporting laboratory logistics, and providing excellent service to clients.
The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced scientific environment. Client interactions + front desk Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner Receive sample submissions, sign paper work and provide bottle orders Payment processing Accept and process client payments (cash/card/cheque) Issue receipts and maintain accurate financial records Sample management Assist with receiving and login samples Managing the sorting of samples Ensure proper labelling and documentation of all in coming samples Bottle order production Prepare and assemble bottle orders for clients based on testing requirements Maintain inventory and order as needed Collections Coordinator Organize and schedule payment collections with clients by phone + email Track and follow up on outstanding accounts Qualifications High school Diploma or equivalent post-secondary education in administration or environmental sciences a plus Previous experience in an admin or customer service role, preferably in a laboratory or technical setting a plus Strong organizational and multitasking skills Proficient in Microsoft office suite and basic data entry systems Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Additional Information Job Location: Ottawa, Ontario Job Type:Contract / Full-time (37.5 paid hours/week);
