Jr. Operations Assistant to support Enterprise Risk and Portfolio Management LOB for a large banking client - 70207
Duration: 6 months (Possibility of Extension)
Location: Downtown Toronto [2 office locations - candidate will be required to be at each site at least once a day; but there is overall flexibility in where they work throughout the day]
Performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, financial and human resources administration and provides professional support to one or more Managers and their direct reports. The role provides general offices services ensuring all administrative and operational processes and control standards are followed, while seeking to determine, develop, and participate in implementation of improvement opportunities, contributing to the effective and efficient operation of the business group.
Must-Have Skills:
- 2+ years in Operations
- Experience in Customer Service
- Banking/Fi experience
- Previous Experience with ServiceNow
Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as part of the Operations Team for Enterprise Risk and Portfolio Management
- Processing employee transitions
- Intakes, onboarding & offboarding
- Internal transfers
- Utilize ServiceNow to log and resolve tickets
- Manage building access including badge management/allocation, floor headcounts, maintaining distributions lists for each team
- Oversee the provisioning of equipment and assets requested by internal teams
- Manage the floors they are on for each location
- Working with facilities to ensure cleanliness and over maintenance is up to standard, and office/kitchen supplies are stocked
- Compliance including working with facilities to coordinate fire drills etc.
- Confirming desks that have been reserved are in use
