What is the opportunity?
The Savings & Investments team is looking for a results-driven and analytical professional to join us as a Product Analytics specialist. In this high-impact role, you will help shape the future of RBC’s product offerings by analyzing key performance trends, identifying new growth and engagement opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making.This is a great opportunity to contribute to the success of Canada’s largest bank while deepening your expertise in financial products, data analytics, and strategy.
What will you do?- Analyze performance of Products, Plans, and Pricing across the Savings & Investments team
- Monitor, interpret, and report on market trends and business performance indicators
- Conduct forecasting and identify business opportunities to support strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with internal partners across Retail Enablement, Operations, and Technology
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Prepare presentations and reports to support executive decision-making
- Support ad-hoc requests and contribute to special projects
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
- Strong analytical mindset with experience drawing insights from complex data
- Proficiency in Excel and other data-focused tools
- Demonstrated business acumen with an ability to link insights to strategic goals
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem solving
Nice to have:
- Master-level education such as an MBA or CFA Charter
- Prior experience in a large financial institution or regulated environment
- Familiarity with investment products and client behaviour analytics
- Experience using BI tools such as Tableau and/or working knowledge of SQL, Python, or SAS
