Work settings: Retail service establishment
Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay
Job requirements
Languages: EnglishEducation: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Job Duties- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Oversee kitchen staff and daily kitchen operations
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
