What is the opportunity?
This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with Capital Markets business partners with a focus on the Sales and Trading teams to define strategy and business requirements to drive and support Capital Markets - Client & Data Analytics platform.The candidate is viewed as the go-to person for all data matters and be perceived as a partner for the business, rather than a task-taker. The incumbent also must exercise sound judgment to deal with the roadblocks during project implementation, while balancing both our short term and long terms interests.
What will you do?- Collaborate with Capital Markets business partners to define strategy and the buildout of technology solutions; coordinate across all LOBs and Product Owners to identify synergies and share best practices / ideas supporting a horizontal approach.
- Define and deliver innovative solutions to satisfy current and future business needs in the context of market dynamics and business impact.
- Liaise with business stakeholders to understand their needs and across all LOBs and regions to define the tech strategy, identifying synergies, sharing best practices & idea in support of a horizontal approach.
- Create road-map, define milestones and ensure solutions align with the wider capital markets strategy; coordinate roll-out and adoption; define success criteria; and obtain feedback post roll-out; understand how users are interacting with the product and address any adoption challenges.
- Ensure architecture and development teams understand business problems and requirements; work with UI/UX teams to ensure a streamlined user experience; support and participate in user acceptance and PIV testing.
- Provide subject-matter-expertise throughout the product life cycle including design, implementation, and 3rd level of escalations
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have- Bachelor‘s Degree in Computer Science, Business Finance or related major with minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst within Capital Markets/Banking focused on business and data analysis, and client insights.
- Excellent SQL querying skill with ability to work with SQL & Data Cloud developers to deliver data projects.
- Strong knowledge in common data analytics tools, not limited to Excel, Python.
- Strong knowledge in business and data analysis, translate business requirements into functional specifications which can be implemented by engineering teams.
- Excellent analytical and ability to analyze complex situations and problems, do necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including peers, leadership, functional and technical teams.
- Working knowledge with data visualization tools and analysis techniques
